Identity Design
I developed this identity for the Modigliani Initiative, a research organization dedicated to supporting the artistic legacy of Amedeo Clemente Modigliani. We wanted the logo to represent the traditional and modern style of Modigliani’s work. The elongated letter forms are representative of the long necks in his portraits. This identity system is currently being used digitally across the website and archives.
Continuing the concept
When creating a brand identity I like to imagine other circumstances where the branding could be expanded on. A museum or gallery exhibit was the perfect solution for an Organization like this one. I wanted to use the color pallette, branding as well as the work of the artist to create an experience for The Modigliani Initiative
